About the Job: We are currently seeking a North America IT Manager for our company. This position is based in London, ON and will manage the IT team supporting Hyundai L&C’s operations in Canada and the USA to ensure all IT needs are met.

Duties and Responsibilities

Overall ERP and Peripherals Management

  • Monitor ERP and peripheral programs, resolving issues and planning improvements.
  • Maintain communication with service providers and develop system improvement plans
  • Manage the system database to maintain its integrity and stability
  • Draft support system development plans aligned with company direction.
  • Facilitate communication between Canada and the USA.
  • Submit monthly reports on system activities and issues requiring attention.
  • Develop strategic plans and implement technology to ensure computer capabilities meet company growth and objectives.

Production Plant Support

  • Monitor production line status and maintain systems.
  • Respond promptly to issues, coordinating with vendors as needed.
  • Regularly check and update equipment to prevent production issues.
  • Report daily on system status and maintenance activities.

System Improvements

· Lead system improvement initiatives to increase internal/external customer satisfaction by evaluating technology and recommending enhancements.

· Conduct regular meetings with users to review user issues and develop solutions.

· Monitor user experiences and collect feedback for continuous improvement.

· Maintain vendor communication and review proposals for system improvement projects.

· Perform risk assessments on Information Technology, vendors, and other organizational functions.

· Ensure the security of information systems, communication, and equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of 2.

· Interview, hire, and train employees

· Plan, assign, and direct work

· Review performance

· Reward and discipline employees

· Address complaints and resolve problems

· Manage and communicate with vendors (office equipment, servers, systems, etc.)

Qualifications

· Post Secondary education in Computer Science or related field

· Five or more years of related experience in Information Technology

· Two or more years of experience leading an Information Technology team

· Experience in business analysis, data management, system architecture, and distributed technologies

· Experience in managing an information technology budget, including forecasting

· Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation experience

· Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines

  • Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019 operating systems
  • Configuration (DHCP, DNS, AD) Policy Definition and Application
  • Experience in SAP system, Windows Server, Network, Cyber Security
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Availability for on call coverage
  • Open to travel to all locations when needed.
  • Ability to communicate in Korean is an asset but not a must have

Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
