We are seeking Millwrights - 433A/3rd Term Apprentice to join our Maintenance Team for our state-of-the-art facility in London, Ontario.

Responsibilities:

· Perform Preventive Maintenance on all equipment according to schedule.

· Implement improvements and / or modifications to existing equipment.

· Identify and perform corrective maintenance that could lead to downtime or line stoppage.

· Provide detailed information regarding any required parts or tools that may be required.

· Supports the production line by integration, improvements, modifications, and start-ups.

· Document findings for future reference.

· Comply with company safety rules and OHSA regulations

Qualifications:

· Licensed as Industrial Millwright, or currently registered apprentice.

· Familiar with material handling systems, conveyor systems, pumps, gearboxes, drive systems and industrial automation.

· Experience using tools specific to their trade.

· Ability to read schematics and OEM documentation.

· Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.

· Understand the cause and effect of downtime to the production line.

· Experience with PLC logic (Siemens 7, HMI) is a benefit.

· Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.

· Experience with forklift, scissor lift and overhead crane is an asset.

· Thorough understanding of Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures

· Strong trouble shooting skills and problem resolution skills

· Excellent verbal and written communications skills

· Able to work straight night and/or rotating days and afternoon
