We’re seeking experts in robotics integration and interfacing with Rockwell/AB PLCs and HMIs. Experience with simulation software, especially Roboguide, would be a valuable asset. We also work with ABB (Robot Studio) and Yaskawa (Motosim). Knowledge of agnostic simulation software, such as Emulate 3D or Process Simulate, is beneficial. You’re expected to be able to set up robots ‘out-of-the-box’ and have knowledge about the robot’s application, such as laser cutting, MIG welding, spot welding, vision inspections, or guidance, etc. The ideal candidate we’re looking for is open to growth and cross-training into other areas of automation programming, such as PLC programming. Education & Requirements:

  • Possession of a degree or diploma in industrial automation programming.
  • Minimum 5 years Robot programming experience in automation or related field.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Roboguide, Robot Studio, SolidWorks.
  • Understanding of the processes involved in custom machine building.
  • Familiarity with various robot applications such as Resistance Spot Welding (RSW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Dispensing, Laser Cutting, Material Handling, etc.
  • Knowledge of Fanuc, ABB, Motoman, and Kuka Robots.
  • Understanding of robot integration and safety features.
  • Capability to create and design a robot program, not just maintain and troubleshoot an existing program.
  • Knowledge of welding specifications.
  • Familiarity with weld controllers (RSW, GMAW, Laser, etc.).
