The Maintenance Supervisor will lead and guide maintenance employees who are part of the union. They will organize and oversee daily maintenance tasks for millwright, electricians, and tool room staff.

- Develop, implement and monitor an effective preventative maintenance schedule
- Assign work schedules
- Organize and lead monthly safety meetings
- Manage vacation schedules
- Maintain p.m. software (Maintain X)
- Oversee maintenance inventory control
- Oversee daily log system (ODLs)
- Handle project assignments as needed
- Coordinate work preformed by outside vendors
- Ensure building security
- Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Design plant enhancements and preventative maintenance program
- Standardize procedures
- Flexibility to work an adjusted schedule
- Understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations
- Knowledge of Labour Relations and current Collective Agreement
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Valid First-Aid/CPR Certificate
- Ability to collaborate effectively with all company levels and external contractors and vendors
