Programmer
Job Summary
The CAM - NC Programmer, under the direction of the Production Manager, will primarily be responsible for working with SolidWorks and AutoCAD drawings, and accurately generating NC code in a timely manner. The CAM/NC Programmer will generate efficient part layouts, nests, material requirements, bill of materials, fixture designing and process sheets.
Job Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, CAD, CAM, AutoCAD, Inventory, SolidWorks, SolidEdge or similar drafting software.
- Three years of CAD/CAM/NC experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. Experience with Trumpf fabricating equipment (lasers, punches and brakes, TOPS CAM system) is preferred.
- Strong Interpersonal skills and team orientation required.
- Solid Comprehension of technical drawings.
- Problem solving and planning ability required.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Background in metal fabrication/assembly.
- General Computer Skills including Word, Excel, Outlook required.
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
- ISO 9001 and 5S experience an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
