General Description:
The Maintenance Millwright will be responsible for preventive maintenance, trouble shooting, and repair programs for our building, machinery and equipment
Essential Duties:
The duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to:
· Responsible for installing or dismantling machinery and equipment according to company plans, blueprints, and other diagrams.
· Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment.
· Repairing malfunctioning equipment, such as motors, pumps, valves, controls, and other machines.
· Perform preventative maintenance once the machines and equipment are put into operation
· Ensure that safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed.
Prerequisite Skills and Qualifications:
· Four-year apprenticeship program certified by Department of Labor, or 5-10 years direct experience as a Millwright.
· Licensed journeyman, or class "A" certification.
· Experience in moving, assembling, disassembling, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of machinery and equipment.
· Demonstrated aptitude in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100 quality standards.
· Must be able and willing to obtain Security Clearance if required
