Job Purpose and Impact

The Master Data Supervisor will execute master data management processes within the department to ensure service levels are met while adhering to relevant data standards. In this role, you will have direct accountability for the team's operational results and performance and will be accountable for the service delivery of master data creation, maintenance and deactivation of materials, vendors, customer and finance master data objects. You will focus on meeting deadlines, conducting root cause analysis and solving problems in a constantly evolving environment.

Key Accountabilities

• Analyze and execute requests from the business units to accurately perform master data processes while adhering to data standards and understanding the impact across the organization.
• Provide routine, first level supervision for transactional tasks which support the compliance, planning and execution of master data process activities.
• Execute master data requests in related applications and other secondary systems for materials, vendors, customers and finance master data.
• Comply with and champion enterprise data policies for the assigned data domains and ensure documentation of internal processes, procedures and tools are accurately maintained.
• Lead the design and improvement of processes for executing complex, cross department data maintenance requests.
• Cultivate existing relationships and interactions with stakeholders and resolve disputes acting as a liaison between stakeholders and escalation point for master data operational teams.
• Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of directly related work experience.
• Expertise with Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Confirmed experience with relevant and related server environments.
• One year of supervisory experience.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI.

• This position is hybrid (office/home) in Minneapolis, MN / Wayzata, MN / Olathe, KS / Brookville, OH or Woodstock, ON.
