Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $33-$45/hourbase salary. OT paid out after 40 hours at 1.5 x hourly rate. Sundays or stats paid at 2 x hourly rate. 3% Employer Matching RRSP
About the Role:
As a Mechanical Designer at BOS Innovations, you will play a key role in developing automation processes and creating design packages for custom automation systems. Leveraging your expertise in SolidWorks and mechanical components, you’ll contribute to delivering high-quality, functional machinery that meets project timelines and budgets. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and Development: As a Mechanical Designer, you will use SolidWorks to develop innovative designs for custom automation systems, ensuring mechanical components are thoughtfully selected and integrated to meet project requirements.
Collaboration and Communication: You will work closely with suppliers and team members to bring designs to life, actively contributing during discussions to shape project outcomes and ensure alignment with objectives.
Project Execution and Problem Solving: You will prepare detailed design packages with precision and troubleshoot technical challenges, driving continuous improvement in the functionality and quality of automation systems.

Requirements
About You:
You are a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with a strong passion for mechanical design and innovation. With a schooling background in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering, you bring valuable experience in designing custom automation machines, including robotics, and excel at leveraging tools like SolidWorks to create impactful solutions. Your excellent understanding of mechanical components, coupled with your strong organizational and communication skills, enables you to collaborate effectively with teams and suppliers. Committed to continuous improvement, you strive to uphold quality standards and contribute meaningfully to every project you undertake.
