Industrial Maintenance Electrician

We require an Industrial Electrician who will be responsible for:

 

  • Ongoing electrical maintenance and inspection of Injection Molding Machines to support the production work schedule and customer demands.
  • Troubleshoot machinery, post-curing ovens and any equipment (electrical, pneumatic, IT production equipment).
  • Maintain and fix issues from defects list and document appropriately.
  • Maintenance of electrical master data in internal system.
  • Machine set up and conversion duties.
  • Electrical maintenance and inspection of machines.
  • Program/troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, Robots and vision systems.
  • Have a general knowledge and understanding of the materials and components.
  • Act as a liaison with the electrical department at our Austrian facility on new project implementation and sustaining activities.
  • Integration/wiring of electrical panels and equipment/Plumb pneumatic circuits and equipment.
  • Communicates effectively throughout all levels of the organization
  • Support environmental, health & safety initiatives throughout the facility, ensuring safety, housekeeping and quality standards are maintained.

 


Do you have?

 

  • Licensed Industrial Electrician (309A or 442A)
  • Mechatronics/Electromechanical experience
  • Electromechanical or Mechatronics technician/technologist degree/diploma
  • PLC Programming/troubleshooting experience
  • Experience working with Injection Molding Machines an asset
  • 1-2 years’ experience working on equipment in a manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
     

 

Successful candidate will also:

 

  • Have excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written).
  • Have an excellent technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team, successfully coordinating with team members from various departments.
  • Must be able to keep work area clean and organized at all times.
  • Be able to problem solve and troubleshoot effectively.
