The Flexographic Printing Press Operator is responsible for maintains all phases of production while meeting production expectations. Responsibilities would include, but not limited to, preventative maintenance, maintaining high-quality standards, general housekeeping, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Here are some of the different activities you’ll be asked to do:

  • Safely setting up and running the press while producing the highest quality of finished product, matching or doing better than standard.
  • Identifying any Tier 5 requirements that are Customer specific.
  • Following live schedules and entering accurate updates within SAP
  • Work with the team and other departments, as required, to identify, prioritize and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Completion of preventative machine maintenance and general housekeeping procedures as required.
  • Meet departmental productivity goals while ensuring consistent quality standards are maintained and customer delivery requirements are met.
  • Actively participate in departmental meetings.
  • Work with the Technical Team Lead to ensure timely responses are made to all departmental CIRs.
  • Ensure that all requirements of JPI Quality Management System are followed.
  • Ensure all applicable departmental SOP’s, GMPs, Health & Safety Management System policies & procedures and Environmental (ISO 14001) Management System policies & procedures are followed.

  • Minimum 2 years of previous flexographic printing experience
