Technical Administration Assistant

We are seeking a motivated Technical Administrative Assistant to oversee and perform key administrative responsibilities related to Controlled Goods compliance, Purchasing, Production Planning, and order entry. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform incoming inspection of components as required.
  • Maintain accurate operational data within ERP systems
  • Create and update item records, material information, and operational data
  • Provide administrative support to projects and initiatives as needed
  • Assist with data validation and process compliance activities
  • Perform in-process and/or final inspection of the products and train production assemblers as back up for inspection.
  • Provide administrative support to Senior Leadership Team and Technical Operations, including preparation of documents and reports.
  • Test final products and various sub-assemblies for a wide range of products according to relevant production procedures, checklists, and work instructions (including engineering drawings and blueprints).
  • Arrange and work with external regulatory inspections.
  • Work closely with Production staff and be the technical resource and trainer to assist with production issues and requirements.
  • Assist in other areas of Manufacturing as required.
  • Root cause process issues
  • Assist and perform audits
  • Develop and review production work instruction and procedures related to inspection and critical process.
  • Conduct any general duties, specific projects, and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Technical Services Group in a timely and professional manner.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Possess/be able to acquire and maintain Security clearance
  • Clear Criminal Background Check and Credit Check
  • Post-secondary education is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative coordination, operations support, or service administration.
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing capabilities with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, organization and prioritization skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong work initiative and attention to detail.

Job Knowledge or Work Experience:

  • Proven experience with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of working with ERP systems
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment considered an asset

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
