We are seeking an Automation Applications Specialist with a strong background in industrial engineering to lead the development and deployment of advanced automation solutions for our customers. This role will act as a technical expert and key liaison between our engineering teams and customers, translating complex production challenges into efficient, scalable automation systems.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary technical resource for automation solution design, development, and implementation.
  • Analyze customer requirements, production processes, and systems to propose automation solutions that improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead application development efforts from concept to commissioning – including technical documentation, system specifications, and integration planning.
  • Create quotations which includes concept, labour estimates, components selection and costing, ROI calculations, cycle charts, etc.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and on-site technical consultations.
  • Provide post-deployment technical support and continuous improvement insights.

Who You Are

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial automation applications – preferably in a customer-facing or integrator role.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing systems, industrial processes, and automation technologies (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, robotics, MES).
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills – both technical and client-facing.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to “hit the ground running” and manage multiple priorities under minimal supervision.

Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
