The Group manufactures and globally markets some of the leading brands in respiratory care, including the AeroChamber® brand of valved holding chambers, the Aerobika® brand of OPEP devices, and the AeroEclipse® brand of nebulizers. Trudell Medical Limited is the Corporate entity within the Trudell Medical Group of Companies and operates out of our offices in London, Ontario Canada.
Manager, Corporate Accounting is a role in our Corporate Finance team.
This is an office-based role with the option of a hybrid work arrangement.
Must be available to come into the London, Ontario office 3 days per week.

You have a university degree in Business Administration/Accounting, have obtained your CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation, have experience managing and mentoring the development of a finance team and have 5+ years of experience in general accounting, including a minimum of 3 years in public accounting.
You possess advanced experience with MS Excel (spreadsheets), experience working in ERP systems. Working with Power BI would be an asset. You have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. You are highly organized with a high level of attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and multi task. You enjoy working independently and collaborating as part of a team.
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Finance, you will manage the accounting of Trudell Medical Limited (TML), implementing automation, financial process, and efficiency improvements, while maintaining appropriate financial risk management that will help support Trudell Medical Group of Companies (TMG) continued growth.
Specifically, you will focus on:
General Accounting and Financial Reporting
- Perform monthly reviews of reconciliations, tax filings, and financial reports prepared by TML, in a timely manner and ensure accuracy and that financials comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Assist TML with general accounting functions on an as needed basis, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable or journal entries for month end closes
- Provide support and accounting expertise to support continuous improvement of processes and controls, and project accounting utilization, to support growth while maintaining data integrity, and sound accounting practices
- Coordinate TML corporate budget and forecast preparation, with appropriate departmental detail allowing for monthly departmental level analysis of variances against budget and enhanced data insights
- Design, implement and maintain project accounting for tracking intercompany charges, centralized purchasing tracking, and legal expenditures
- Support reporting from Concur, Travel and corporate credit card platforms as required
Digital Transformation
- Assist with financial digital transformation projects, including contributing to design, implementation, data validation, process review, and user acceptance testing
- Assist with the identification of automation opportunities to increase efficiencies in the general accounting function, enhancing reporting, generating more insightful information for business decision making
Compliance
- Identify and recommend updates to accounting processes and procedures
- Ensure accounting processes, procedures and policies for TML are documented and maintained
- Monitor adherence to TMG internal control policy to minimize financial risks
- Assist external auditors and provide required statements and information requests
- Monitor, coordinate, and maintain legal documentation preparation for intercompany management service agreements, loans, leases, and dividend resolutions
- Coordinate monthly TML management fee timesheet calculations and allocation of corporate costs back to affiliated companies
Treasury and Analysis
- Perform routine cash management and analysis
- Monitor and support processing of day-to-day banking activities
- Provide backup for the Manager, Corporate Finance in performing TMG Treasury administration and support
- Assist VP and CFO, and Director Corporate Finance with ad hoc financial analyses and requests
- Assist Director, Taxation with financial analysis needed for tax reporting and government-initiated audits as requested
