We are currently seeking a Warehouse Materials Coordinator to join our Scoreboards Manufacturing Department. This role is essential to ensuring accurate inventory control and supporting efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts using specialized software and counting tools.
  • Organize, sort, and release materials using the Work Assist Vehicle (WAV) and designated storage systems.
  • Inspect parts for defects, wear, and damage, and report any concerns.
  • Production Support:
  • Assist in creating and maintaining production schedules by providing updates on material shortages.
  • Prepare internal orders by pulling parts according to production documentation and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel, production staff, and purchasing teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
  • Investigate discrepancies and report any risks to the supervisor.
  • Lean Manufacturing:
  • Adopt and practice Lean Manufacturing Concepts to improve efficiency.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as part of OES Quality Management Systems.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Post-Secondary Education in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control, or a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and JobBoss.
  • Knowledge of OES Quality Management Systems, ISO 9000, and related SOPs.

Technical Skills & Competencies:

  • Knowledge of inventory control procedures and barcode inventory systems.
  • Ability to read production documentation and instructions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to lift and manipulate objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable with moderate physical effort and repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
