What You Will Do:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), the Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting financial decision-making across the organization. You will lead and support budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and internal reporting to drive profitability and operational effectiveness.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Collaborate with department leaders to manage and refine variable spend forecasts.
  • Support the development of the annual operating plan and long-range forecast.
  • Ensure forecasts reflect business trends and evolving market conditions.
  • Enhance budget processes and tools to improve efficiency and transparency.

Business Support & Strategic Analysis

  • Financial modeling to assist stakeholders in making strategic business decisions.
  • Provide financial insights for key business cases, including incentive pricing and vendor negotiations.
  • Deliver transfer pricing and margin analysis to support cross-border activities.
  • Advise stakeholders with data-driven recommendations that support profitability goals.

Reporting & Performance Insights

  • Prepare monthly reporting to our parent company, including Sales and Operating Profit Bridges and Business Review Letters.
  • Conduct profitability and cost allocation analyses across customer segments, channels, brands, and categories.
  • Support ad hoc reporting and analytics requests with actionable insights.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Deep knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling principles.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Cognos Analytics or similar platforms (asset).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • A proven ability to deliver insights that drive business results.
