The Opportunity
We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our Operations team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping our production facility running safely, reliably, and efficiently.
This is a hands-on, plant-floor role — ideal for someone who thrives in an industrial setting, enjoys troubleshooting, and takes pride in keeping equipment performing at its best.
We’re especially interested in candidates who prefer afternoon or split shifts and can work independently while collaborating across departments to reduce downtime and support continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on plating lines, pumps, motors, heaters, hoists, and other production equipment.
- Respond rapidly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose root causes, and carry out electrical, pneumatic, or mechanical repairs.
- Straighten, weld, and maintain plating racks to meet production and quality standards.
- Assist with installation and modification of new or existing equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized maintenance area and follow all health & safety procedures (PPE provided).
- Complete maintenance logs, inspection reports, and repair records accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with production, quality, and management teams — knowing when to escalate or stop unsafe operations.
What You Bring
Must-Haves:
- 2+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician or in industrial maintenance
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (motors, relays, circuits, sensors, heaters, etc.)
- Basic welding and fabrication ability (MIG preferred)
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics
- Proven ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
Nice-to-Haves:
- Millwright or Electrical Certification (Apprentice or Licensed)
- Experience in plating, chemical processing, or overhead hoist systems
- Forklift or scissor-lift certification
Why Join Artisan
- Competitive pay ($30–$38/hr based on experience)
- Health Care Spending Account (HCSA)
- Stable, full-time role in a growing manufacturing environment
- Supportive, safety-focused culture
- Opportunity to learn, grow, and make a difference every day
