General Production Worker - Afternoon Shift

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM
Wage: $18/hour

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Production Worker to join our Afternoon Shift team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and take pride in quality work and maintaining a clean, safe workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Read and understand production schedules, job travellers, and basic work instructions
• Select and use the correct racking systems for various production processes
• Learn and follow standard processing procedures for assigned tasks
• Perform quality checks on incoming and raw product
• Handle line jams and report issues appropriately
• Safely palletize and handle finished products
• Maintain cleanliness in assigned work areas, including sweeping, garbage removal, and general housekeeping
• Assist other departments or areas as directed by your Supervisor

Requirements:

• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
• Able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
• Physically capable of bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, standing, and walking for long periods
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to cross-train in multiple operations
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks safely and accurately
• Strong attendance and punctuality are essential

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
