Sales Operations Specialist at Masco Canada (Hybrid role based in our St. Thomas or Mississauga, ON office)

Reporting to the Sales Enablement Lead, you will support the success of our Trade and Retail Sales Teams at Masco Canada. The Sales Operations Specialist will directly support the Business Development Managers and National Account Managers by optimizing the end-to-end Sales journey and collaborating with our Masco Internal and External Business partners with key reporting initiatives, data tools, and procedures. 

By collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to support and enhance the end-to-end sales journey, you will enable the Masco Sales Teams to meet and exceed our customer service expectations. This position will collaborate with the cross-functional teams to drive the sales team's continuous improvement initiatives, strategic vision, and sale target results

What will you do?

  • Lead and Support Retail Promotional Initiatives and Planner Tracking; Including driving insights for program recommendations, project management, and ROI reporting
  • Lead Insight development for new programs within Retail; including standard display menu and leveraging POS insights  
  • Lead Retail Display Initiatives and Programs: including PIS Set-Up, Supplier Relationship ownership, forecasting, and timeline maintenance
  • Lead Trade and Retail Budget Management; with recommendations, approvals, monitoring, and monthly reporting; Including LMF/COOP
  • Lead and Support Retail MSS Team; Create Missions, lead MSS QBR’s, and support the MSS team to be successful
  • Support Monthly Retail Insights and Program Reports out
  • Support Retail Tradeshow planning and success
  • Collaborate and Support Retail Key Account managers through the PLR Process, including sample orders, insights, and support
  • Maintain Master Catalogue for the Retail Channel
  • Collaborate with key cross-functional teams to support Trade and Retail Teams, including The Sales Enablement Team, Sales Team members, Marketing Product Management, and Supply Chain Teams.
  • Develop a high level of portfolio, product, and industry knowledge and expertise to be sought out as Subject Matter Expert.
  • Support and Back-Up Sales Enablement and Sales Teams when needed.
  • Prioritize and support ad hoc requests and troubleshooting.

What will you bring?

  • Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma with a focus on Business, Marketing or Sales
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a marketing or sales support role.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SmartSheet, and CRM tools such as Cognos, JDE, and others.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate and resolve complex issues creatively.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proven experience working across all levels of an organization, demonstrating adaptability and collaboration with different management layers.
