Position Overview
ARVA Industries is seeking an energetic, ambitious, and strategic Sales Director to lead and expand our global sales efforts across the mining, rail, and engineering services sectors. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's growth strategy, managing major client relationships, and driving revenue performance worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global sales strategy aligned with ARVA’s business objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in mining, rail, and industrial engineering markets.
- Manage existing key accounts and foster long-term customer relationships.
- Lead and mentor a growing sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to tailor solutions to customer needs.
- Represent ARVA Industries at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Report directly to the President and contribute to executive-level decision-making.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform business strategy.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of sales leadership in capital goods sales which may include mining, rail, industrial equipment, or engineering services.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of B2B sales experience with a global or multi-regional scope.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Experience in strategic planning and senior-level business development.
- Self-starter with a high level of energy, drive, and professionalism.
- Engineering or technical background is a strong asset.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.

Term: This is a full-time position, based on a forty-hour work week
Start Date:
Term Review: Your status will be reviewed no later than 6 months from your start date.
Compensation: Salary at the rate of $100,000.00 per annum, subject to the usual statutory
deductions. You will be included in the profit share program for executives of the company.
Annual Travel budget : TBD
Regular expense reports to be completed. Reasonable travel
expenses will be reimbursed. Fuel for business use to be charged on expense account.
Benefits: Following 1 year of service, ARVA offers a 1% contribution to employee RRSP. In addition,
at that time, the company will match the employee’s RRSP contribution at a rate of 25% up to 3% of
an employee’s base salary. There is a $650 per year health care spending account, plus a cost shared Group Medical Coverage, LTD, ADD and life insurance which will begin upon work start date.
Our vacation offer is 3 vacation weeks per year for the first 5 years of service. ARVA shuts down
the plant and office between Christmas and New Year, you will be paid up to 3 days vacation
during this period. If additional days fall during this period either work or non-paid
vacation is available.
Equipment: The company will supply a cell phone and laptop. PPE equipment is either provided or reimbursed if employee makes a purchase.
Hours of Work: Normal office hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for a 40 hour work week.
International and domestic travel will be required up to 30% of the time.
Confidentiality: The nature of your position and the nature of our business require that the
utmost in confidentiality concerning the business and affairs of Arva Industries and its customers,
suppliers and personnel is maintained at all times, both during and after employment with
Arva Industries. You will be required to sign the standard Arva confidentiality agreement.
