Job Position:  GMC1 Operator

Starting Rate: $24.75

Schedule: Monday to Friday; 11:00 pm to 7:00 am

Overview of the Role

Reporting to the Packaging Supervisor, the GMC1 Operator is responsible for the smooth operation of the GMC1 equipment.   They would be required to attend their scheduled shift regularly and punctually ready to fulfil all duties required during shift with a focus on customer satisfaction.  They will meet daily efficiencies stipulated by Packaging Supervisor/Plant Manager.

How you will make contributions that matter:

It is the GMC1 operators responsibility to ensure that all product passes all quality and food safety checks to ensure our customers are getting safe quality products. Ensure that all batch tracking and best before dates are correct.

Following all policies and procedures when it comes to Health and safety. Making sure that the schedule is being followed and the proper cheese is being used with the proper packaging. Communicating with the Lead hand/ Supervisor if any issues or concerns.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

• Some mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting and record keeping with the ability to adapt to changing environments quickly and easily

• Sound communication and interpersonal skills: demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.

• Must be self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and the ability to function independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to motivate and encourage employee to be team players and execute their tasks.
