Maintenance Technician - Afternoon Shift

Ensure adherence to quality management system, manufacturing processes and customer specifications by verifying all production documents are correct, signed and order is complete.

What we are looking for:

• 3 plus years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to learn skills specific to maintaining equipment and machinery at Canduct.
• A sense of urgency and tenacity
• Positive verbal and non- verbal communication
• Ability to work in a team setting, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• The ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, which may include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, standing, walking, repetitive motion, and other job specific requirements.
• Attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Great attendance is a critical requirement.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete work orders as assigned in CMMS system.
• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Handle basic repairs and maintenance.
• Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them.
• Identify spare parts and assist with ordering and updating CMMS system.
• Ensure output meets quality standards.
• Ensure all health and safety precautions are taken, policies are followed and enforced.
