Maintenance Technician

Arkal Automotive is a Plastics Injection Molding company located in the London area. We are a successful Tier 2 supplier within the automotive market. We are looking for an energetic, skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. We offer a competitive salary and benefits.

Job Responsibilities

• Mold change, set-up and production start-up
• Assembles, disassembles, installs, repairs, fabricates and maintains machinery, equipment and spare parts
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems and correct as required in accordance to technical manuals/schematics/blueprints
• Trouble shooting manufacturing issues in presses and automation
• Work in a team environment to assist in problem resolution
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Communicate effectively through all levels of the organization
• Required to perform other duties as assigned
• Straight shift assignment, but must be able to work all shifts as required

Requirements

• Electrical/Controls/Siemens PLC background/knowledge an asset
• Understanding of TS requirements
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
