Position Description:

Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Development Programs (London), this job will:

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary Integrated Project Team (IPT) in pursuit of the USMC Armored Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) program
  • Coordinate the execution of a contracts from the US Government to design and build of an ARV Demonstrator/Prototypes
  • Coordinate aligned IRAD activities in support of ARV
  • Lead IPT meetings, coordinating resolution and following up on technical or programmatic issues
  • Lead program activities within the scope of the contract to ensure that deliverables achieve cost, schedule and compliance/performance
  • Interface with customer points of contact to facilitate effective contract execution, as required
  • Track monthly performance reports and take appropriate action, as required
  • Develop and maintain reporting/presentations to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers and partners
  • Lead aligned bid and proposal activities
  • Lead planning and execution of demonstrations and tests
  • Support managing risk elements of the program
  • Assist with preparing briefs and updates to leadership
  • Exercise a mindset of continuous process improvements and efficiencies
  • Ensure all Program activities meet compliance requirements (CP/SP/CGD/ITAR/EAR/CUI/FCPA/GP/SOX, etc.)

  • University degree
  • Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience
  • Customer, results and detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to plan, analyze and solve complex problem
  • Ability to lead and motivate people to achieve common objectives
  • Self-motivated and effective in a multi-disciplinary team, including facilitating discussion, agreement and issue resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, respond to competing requirements and manage expectations while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to be agile, set priorities and multi-task under pressure.
  • Strong negotiation, oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in developing and delivering presentations to Leadership
  • Experience in MS Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Program Management fundamentals
  • PMP designation
  • Understanding of GDLS-C Program/Finance/Contracts processes and measurements
  • Experience managing projects
  • Experience in major proposal development
  • Knowledge of USMC customer, including their organization, equipment and principles
  • Experience working with government contracts
  • Defense industry experience or military background
  • Experience creating or managing metrics or other performance reports
  • EVMS and Bid-X experience
