Job Description
 
Ensure employee safety and product quality by strictly managing and adhering to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
Assumes Lead Operator/SM responsibilities when they not scheduled to shift (IE a call out, vacation coverage and weekend coverage)
 
Logistics Process Improvement Owner:
  • Uses VPO Methods to develop technical knowledge and improve logistics processes across all shifts.
  • Complete routine risk assessments of equipment for safety, E&F, quality and process impacts.
  • Responsible for the performance of designated processes areas using problem solving tools to drive results .
  • Responsible for area losses investigation on returnable bottle assets/dunnage/packaging materials/auxiliary materials/finished goods.
  • Assist maintenance technicians in troubleshooting equipment in the event of a breakdown or chronic problem
  • Lead champion for Logistics Pillar at brewery and facilitating improvement in pillar mean scores.
 
Logistics Strategic Initiatives:
  • Responsible for implementation of strategic initiatives as designated by brewery and Zone Logistics Support.
 
Logistics Process Problem Solving:
  • Responsible assisting with root cause analysis/actions from 5whys initiated on shift 
  • Support root cause blocking implementation with BPMs and operator teams
 
Manage to Improve Processes:
  • Responsible for Logistics Process GOPs and Implementation (DTCL, Service Level, PNP, Direct Load%, Inventory Accuracy, Warehouse Utilization etc.)
  • Accountable for Best Practice Implementation of Logistics processes.
  • Leads PDCAs/ITFs on both process and equipment levels to improve performance.
  • Uses Belts and/or lean methodology to improve process and equipment.
  • Responsible for SMED process to drive logistics process improvement
 
Job Qualifications
 
  • University degree, Business and Industry related discipline or equivalent professional experience. 
  • Experience as a Supervisor will be an asset.
  • Experience working in fast paced environment.
  • Experience in Manufacturing and Warehouse is preferred.
