Are you an experienced estimator looking to advance your career? Norlon Builders, a leading general contracting firm within ICI sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Intermediate Estimator to join our pre-construction team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to develop accurate pricing.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure competitive bids.
- Assist in value engineering and risk assessment during pre-construction.
- Maintain and update estimating databases and cost benchmarks.
- Assist in tender closing process, ensuring all submissions are accurate and timely.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a Diploma in Construction Technology.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years working as an estimator with a General Contractor.
- Proficiency in estimating Bluebeam Microsoft Excel, and project management tools.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
