About the Role

Take the lead in driving innovation and efficiency as a Project Manager at BOS Innovations. As the key player responsible for overseeing custom automation projects from start to finish, you'll ensure every project is delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest level of quality. Be the face of BOS for customers during critical projects, influencing outcomes and building strong, long-lasting relationships.

 

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 plus a 3% company matching RRSP program

Location: London, ON

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Lead the complete lifecycle of custom automation projects, from initial PO acceptance to final delivery, ensuring successful execution while maintaining strong customer relationships. With a focus on engagement and influence, you’ll oversee the commercial and operational aspects of projects, aligning timelines, quality, and budgets to exceed expectations.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

End-to-End Project Ownership: Manage projects from customer handoff to final delivery, leading schedules, budgets, and customer interactions.

Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact, ensuring smooth communication and timely signoffs, milestone payments, and technical or commercial updates.

Drive Successful Execution: Engage with customers and internal teams to develop project plans, mitigate risks, and resolve challenges to meet deadlines, quality standards, and budgets.

Collaborate & Lead: Facilitate design reviews, site visits, and project meetings with both internal teams and customers, managing every detail of the project process.

Identify & Resolve Scope Issues: Analyze project requests and identify out-of-scope work, strategically working with the sales team to address customer needs and manage change requests.

Requirements

About You

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Engineering
  • Strong proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is essential for effective communication, including understanding complex instructions, collaborating with team members and customers, and preparing reports
  • Computer Expertise: Microsoft Office, Epicor, Microsoft Project, Review level knowledge of Solidworks and Draftsight
  • PMP Designation considered an asset

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of project flow, milestones, and machine building processes (laser, assembly, welding, etc.)
  • Familiarity with the equipment and components used in custom machine building
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Strong planning, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to communicate clearly and negotiate effectively
  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting skills
