Inventory Coordinator

As an Inventory Coordinator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless flow of inventory, playing a vital role in maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within our SW Ontario-based cannabis extraction facility. With a focus on detail, organization, and collaboration, you'll be at the forefront of driving our commitment to excellence in inventory operations.
NOTE: This is a physically demanding role which requires you to lift, move and set up pallets of inventory in our facility.

Motif Labs is a licensed cannabis extraction facility located in SW Ontario. We operate as a business-to-business enterprise, offering toll processing and contract manufacturing services to Licensed Producers (LP’s) and 3rd party brands. Position Overview

• Efficiently manage daily receipt processing to ensure prompt entry into the ERP system.
• Oversee and facilitate daily cycle counts for inventory associates.
• Investigate root causes of discrepancies and ensure timely updates of inventory adjustments in the ERP.
• Maintain key performance indicator (KPI) data metrics.
• Generating and maintaining reports related to inventory levels, usage, and production progress.
• Coordinate and manage daily transfer orders to facilitate production across facilities.
• Handle inbound returns (RTV), including communication and disposition.
• Execute material disposition tasks as instructed by the organization.
• Facilitating shipments of products, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain adherence to housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating the required equipment, including forklifts, reach lifts, motorized pallet movers, and expedite vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Preferred candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of supply chain, inventory management or similar experience (preferably in a manufacturing setting)
• Post-secondary education in supply chain management, logistics and/or inventory management preferred.
• Effective time management, organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong analytical, coordination and project management skills with ability to prioritize changing and conflicting demands, meet deadlines, and stay productive under pressure.
• Effective ability to interact with others and deal with situations in ways that respect diverse backgrounds, experience, and styles.
• Proficient with ERP software (i.e., SAP, WMS, Dynamics 365)
• Post-Secondary education in related field an asset
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word etc.
• Must be able to lift +50lbs
• Previous experience with material handling equipment (Pump trucks, carts etc.)

Schedule

• “Half Continental” rotating shift schedule (DAY shift): 4 days one week, 3 days the following week
• Sunday through to Saturday (7-day operation). Hours are 7:30am – 8:00pm (12.5 hours)
• Breaks are: three 30 min breaks to be broken up based on team needs and discussed with Supervisor/Manager
