Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Maintain inventory accuracy - all materials scanned to location
• Report and request maintenance repairs when necessary for quality or safety to Team Leaders and Production Supervisors
• Maintain accurate production records at all times
• Suggest corrective actions and/or continuous improvements and participate in improvement processes
• Review all quality alerts and notify Team Leader if new quality issues arise
• Ensure work area is clean, neat, orderly and free of scrap materials
• 5S and Kaizen activities as required
• Assist team members to achieve work goals and objectives
• Occasional lifting up to 35 pounds
• Continually coordinate with Team Leaders/Supervisors to maximize efficiency
• Responsible for pre-staging and changing coil for all set-ups
• Banding unused material safely and as per standard
• Cleaning and organizing the coil storage area
• Assist with unloading steel trucks as required
• Assist with receiving and clearing dock once material has been received
• Put all material away in proper storage location
• Ensure all coils are scanned to proper location
• All other relevant duties

Skills/ Capabilities:

• Excellent manual dexterity skills
• Computer efficiency skills in all required areas
• Must have Forklift License
• Must have Overhead Crane Certification or have ability to obtain
• Excellent attendance

Key Requirements:

• Grade 12 Diploma or GED
• Mechanically inclined
