Toyota Boshoku Canada (TBCA) manufactures the seats, doors, carpets and headliners for the Toyota RAV4 and Lexus RX350. We are looking for someone who:
  • Ideally has 1+ years of manufacturing or production experience however we do consider experience in other fast-paced industries (ex. fast food).
  • Is able to work rotating day and afternoon shifts (2-week rotation).
  • Is available and willing to work mandatory overtime (Shifts are 8 to 10 hours long).
  • Can use their hands and wrists repetitively and stand for long periods of time.
  • Is able to lift up to 30 lbs repetitively.
  • Has a great attendance record and arrives on time for work.
  • Has good hand/eye coordination skills.
  • Is a positive team player who works well with others.
  • Has a high school diploma - preferred but not required.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the assembly and production process.
  • Follow work instructions to ensure a high quality standard.
  • Learn multiple processes in manufacturing as part of a scheduled job rotation.
  • Maintain a clean workstation and contribute to a safe work environment.
  • Achieve goals and take pride in a job well done.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Shifts:
Woodstock
  • Morning shift (staggering starts for COVID-19 screening)
    • Monday-Friday: 6:15 AM - 2:45 PM or 6:30 AM - 3:15 PM
  • Afternoon shift (staggering starts for COVID-19 screening)
    • Monday-Thursday: 5:45 PM - 2:15 AM or 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM
    • Friday: 4:45 PM - 1:15 AM or 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM

***Shifts are between 8 to 10 hours long. The amount of overtime and the shift end times vary due to business demands.

Wages:
  • $20.00 per hour as a starting rate; plus wage increases at 6 months and at 1 year.
  • Overtime time is paid at 1.5 times your regular wage after 40 hours each week.
  • $1.40 shift premium added when working the afternoon shift.
