SUMMARY OF TASKS

Production and Supply Controller has the following job responsibilities and job qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor production budgets, analyze costs and expenditures, prepare, and maintain cost reports.
  • Monitor production processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Communicate with other departments and teams to ensure that production goals are met.
  • Oversee generation of daily production results, including yield, labour efficiency, and profitability and prepare quarterly yield and throughput analysis of current products.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to non-finance managers regarding issues of production financial control and compliance.
  • Coordinate with accounting to ensure all procedures are in alignment with corporate guidance.
  • Working with Company Accountant and Team ensuring consistent and accurate integration of Production financial information.
  • Participate in the preparation of financial analysis and reports, as required.
  • Project Management including supply chain strategies that increase the efficiency and speed of supply operations.
  • Serve as special projects leader and demonstrate well-developed project management skills.
  • Help establish and improve business policies and process controls.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Project Planning, Management or a related field is required.
  • Experience with project management software, like Microsoft Project or similar programs is required.
  • Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation is required.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in Business or related field.
  • Experience in accounts payable, account reconciliations is an asset.
  • Knowledge of production accounting principles and practices.
  • An accounting designation, CPA or CA or schooling towards an accounting designation is an asset.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office, with advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Must have experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP
  • Previous experience with Production Accounting and multi-company projects is an asset
  • English fluency required

SCHEDULE

  • 44 hours per week
