We design, program-manage, fabricate, source, retrofit, repair/service, and breakdown/recycle all types of packaging – metal, plastic, foam, bags, bulk/standard bins and a variety of custom dunnage. Position Summary

The Accounts Receivable Associate, will be responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all Receivable functions, including various other accounting, and finance, functions with PakFab. This position will interact closely with other internal team members as well as suppliers, and customers. For this role, there will be time sensitive processes and documents as well as confidentiality requirements. This position reports to the Department Manager or their designate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date billing system
• Generate and send out invoices
• Follow up on, collect and allocate payments
• Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
• Perform account reconciliations
• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Generate age analysis
• Review AR aging to ensure compliance
• Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records
• Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc.
• Prepare bank deposits
• Investigate and resolve customer queries
• Process adjustments
• Assist with month-end closing
• Collect data and prepare monthly metrics

Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years accounts receivable and general accounting experience
• Business Degree or diploma or equivalent experience
• Computer skills (Working knowledge): Microsoft products, Visual Basic, ACH (Automated Clearing House)
• Demonstrates effective project management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
• Customer service skills
• Support Accounts Payable activities as needed

Work Conditions

• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Clean office environment
• Travel to off-site locations may be required
• PPE will be required if entering the production area
