Currently seeking production workers in our shipping department to join the Northern Contours Team!

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Full time: 42.5 hours per week, may be requested to work overtime
- Weekly daily hours are 4pm-1:00am
- Set shift, no rotating shifts
- Maintain filing of shipping documents
- Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and if multiple items per shipment, ensure orders are complete
- Work efficiently to minimize cycle times, to meet production targets.
- Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and evolving deadlines
- Experience in shipping or manufacturing environments is an asset
- Ability to perform repetitive movements and standing for long periods of time
- Adhere to all Northern Contours, Inc. policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Knowledge of shipping procedures and documentation requirements
- Packing and wrapping experience an asset
- Reliable and punctual
- Attention to detail
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications.
- Time management skills
- Problem solving skills
