- Measuring and cutting wood to specifications
- Cutting materials to specified lengths
- Math and ability to work with numbers and measures for elevation drawings and blueprints
- Following all safety practices relating to operation of equipment and work processes
Skills and Experience:
- This individual must be able to operate all of the following equipment efficiently and safely: Table saw, planers, band saw, circular saw, drum sander, shaper, thickness sander, shaper, digital caliper, hand tools and use of a tape measure
- Experience operating a moulder operator is an asset
- Continuing education and experience related to door assembly, carpentry or wood working skills are an asset
