Position Description:

  • Monitor, coordinate and report on program activities within the scope of the contract to ensure deliverables achieve cost, schedule and performance
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers to facilitate effective contract execution
  • Liaise and collaborate with multi-disciplined teams in support of program objectives and customer reporting
  • Coordinate all CDRL deliveries and program schedule milestones
  • Lead aftermarket and prime contract proposals through the organization
  • Lead integrated project team (IPT) meetings, coordinating resolution and follow up on technical or programmatic issues
  • Develop and maintain reporting, metrics and presentations for a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Track program proposals and payment plans with a focus on achieving financial targets
  • Support managing risk elements of the program
  • Prepare contractual correspondence; including, meetings/presentation material
  • Exercise a mindset of continuous process improvements and efficiencies
  • Ensure all Program activities meet compliance requirements (ITAR/EAR/FCPA/GP/SOX, etc.)
  • Provide coverage for Associate Program Manager, as required
  • Short term special assignments, as required

 

Position Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree or college diploma
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, including project management experience
  • Ability to respond to customer requirements and manage expectations while ensuring satisfaction
  • Customer and detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to plan, analyze and solve problems
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to be agile, set priorities and multi-task under pressure
  • Self-motivated and effective in a multi-disciplinary team, including to facilitate discussions
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Experience in MS Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of GDLS-C Program processes and measurements
  • Ability to travel internationally and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP designation or working towards
  • Familiarity with various functional areas of the business
  • Product knowledge and defense industry or military experience
  • Previous experience working with government contracts
  • Related customer experience
  • Experience creating or maintaining metrics or other performance reports
  • Bid-X, Teamcenter and Oracle experience
