The Opportunity

We are recruiting a highly motivated Finished Goods Inspector to join us at SLEEGERS. The successful candidate will work with our Quality Team to ensure that our products meet exacting quality standards and compliance requirements. Your core responsibilities will include: 

• Working collaboratively with our Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to diligently execute the mandate of SLEEGERS’ Quality Program with minimal oversight

• Performing in-process inspections during our powder coating process to ensure quality parameters are maintained (i.e. Dry Film Thickness (DFT), PH levels, and temperature)

• Performing finished product inspections to verify DFT readings and ensure colour uniformity

• Using attribute gauges to conduct thread quality verifications during valve inspection

• Identifying and isolating defective in-process and finished product

• Reviewing engineering drawings to ensure all packaging requirements are met

• Completing serial number and nameplate verifications 

• Overseeing the shipment of product

• Accurately preparing inspection and shipping documentation

The Ideal Candidate

• Has 1-2 years of finished goods inspection experience 

• Is detail oriented and can effectively manage competing priorities

• Previous hands-on powder coating or inspection experience is considered an asset

• Previous assembly experience is considered an asset

• Post-secondary education in a related quality or engineering field, with previous experience in a manufacturing environment, is preferred
