Your Future:

Responsible for the mechanical maintenance of the plant infrastructure and process equipment.
You will be trained in order to optimize your knowledge of our automated custom built machines.
You will be trained and responsible for maintaining HACCP standards.
You will be involved in the development of reliability strategies and preventative maintenance programs.
You will build, install, breakdown and maintain equipment as needed.
You will be a key member of the maintenance team that will contribute to the success of Dr. Oetker.
You will be part of the team that produces highest quality Dr. Oetker products. Food safety and security is of the utmost importance for Dr. Oetker and for you.
Consistently follow all Dr. Oetker Health & Safety and Food Safety & Security policies and procedures.

Your Qualifications:

You will be an interprovincial licensed Millwright (433A).
Minimum of 1 year experience working in the capacity of mechanical maintenance preferably in the food or pharmaceutical industry.
You have had exposure to PLC systems including Siemans S7.
You will have good knowledge of infrastructure and utility systems.
Previous experience of HVAC systems and will be able to keep the facility running at optimum levels
A TSSA B operator certification would be an asset.
TSSA B operator certification (training and education) would be supported financially for the right candidate. (This additional certification also includes a $3/hour wage increase)
Physical essential abilities are handling heavy loads (up to 25 KG), manual dexterity, attention to detail, good hand-eye co-ordination, and bending, twisting, and lifting abilities.
You can stand for long periods of time and are able to work in extreme conditions with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling.
You have your own transportation, as public transportation is not available.
You will not be allowed to wear piercings, jewelry, nail polish, fake eyelashes, fake Fingernails etc. in production area.
Must be able to touch and work with pork, chicken, beef and dairy products.
You are able to work rotating 12 hour shifts on four week cycles. You are able to work day and night shifts.

Salary: $39.00-$42.00 per hour
