We are seeking an Asphalt Equipment Float Driver who is aspiring to reach their potential in the field of construction. AAROC Aggregates is part of the John Aarts Group Ltd. responsible for the Supply of Aggregates, Landscape Products, Crushing, Trucking & Recycling.

 

Environment

 

An Asphalt Equipment Float Driver is required to provide support to the construction operations by transporting its off-road equipment to and from active job sites.

 

How you will make an IMPACT

 

  • Deliver asphalt equipment to/from various job locations
  • Ensure equipment is secure for safe transportation
  • Haul and deliver hot mix asphalt when float duties are complete
  • Perform other haulage duties when required
  • Perform daily truck inspections
  • Maintain positive company image in appearance, conduct, and communication
  • Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances
  • Other duties as assigned

 

How you WOW us

 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years related experience preferred
  • Valid AZ License with clean abstract
  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50lbs
  • Ability to keep accurate records
  • Basic Computers skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to Health & Safety
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
