About the role:

The EH&S Coordinator will serve this vital role for our facilities in London, Ontario. You will assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Environment Health and Safety programs and policies that ensure compliance with Federal, Provincial and local regulatory requirements. This person is expected to come onsite in London, ON, day to day, and will have up to 10% travel to other Trojan Technologies locations such as our Guelph ON site.

In this role, you will:

• Complete daily EHS standard work, identify unsafe acts or conditions, establish associate/ manager relationships and pro-actively solve EHS issues.

• Develop, plan and implement innovative EHS programs that meet regulatory and corporate requirements.

• Coordinate and conduct the EHS training programs to meet regulatory and corporate requirements.

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or other applicable field(s) required

• Minimum of three years’ experience leading EHS, preferably in an industrial establishment required

• Strong working knowledge of the Ontario Occupational Health and safety Act and related regulations required

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Manufacturing operations, laboratories and/or environmental sustainability best practices

• Experience with ISO14001/ISO45001

• BENCHMARK (GenSuite) or other EHS data management system
