The following opportunity is available at Kaiser Aluminum Canada Limited extrusion facility in London. Our manufacturing strategy is based upon continuous improvement with a cooperative and flexible work environment.

Must be available on a full time basis with ability to work days/nights and every other weekend, no part time work is available.

Kaiser Aluminum is offering an hourly wage of $24.52-$25.52, plus a monthly profit incentive bonus and an attractive benefit package.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Working with and/or around molten metal operations (aluminum scrap, aluminum melting, aluminum casting)
• Various operations involving the use of saws, forklifts, front-end loaders and overhead cranes with an ability to train and operate safely
• Conduct pre-use inspections of equipment and machinery
• Maintain accurate production records and reporting production issues
• Maintain accurate production records and reporting production issues
• Inspect finished products for quality and adhere to customer specifications
• Ability to perform tasks requiring repetition, manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year factory experience
• Must be able to work 12 hour shifts on a rotational basis of days/nights
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable standing for long periods of time
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment
