Job Description
Accountabilities
- Act as the Commercial Product Owner proxy for ERP and/or related Commercial tools by translating Commercial strategy, pain points, and operational needs into clearly scoped system enhancements, features, and improvements. Partner with Internal Customers, Business Systems Analysts, Project Managers, and Development teams to define requirements, prioritize backlogs, validate solutions, and ensure delivered capabilities meet Commercial outcomes.
- Own the Commercial intake and prioritization process for ERP and/or Commercial tool enhancements, including: Identifying and validating business problems and pain points
Defining scope, success criteria, and expected Commercial value Sequencing work based on impact, effort, and strategic alignment Ensure scope trade-offs and prioritization decisions are communicated clearly to Commercial stakeholders.
- Serve as an occasional Commercial liaison for CRM initiatives, ensuring system design supports Commercial processes, reporting needs, and customer experience objectives.
- Validate that implemented solutions achieve intended Commercial outcomes by partnering with stakeholders to confirm adoption, usability, and performance against defined KPIs (e.g., cycle time, data quality, user experience, revenue enablement).
- Drive high levels of ERP performance, availability, sustainability, and security by proactively engaging platform resources.
- Triage, solve, and correct ERP and connected system level technical issues in real time.
- Collaborate with BSA’s, Dev, DBA, and Server Admin resources to meet ERP related project objectives on behalf of the Commercial Organization acting as the swim lane owner for improvements.
- Refine and automate regular ERP job processes, track issues, and document system changes.
- Lead Commercial-facing change management for system enhancements, including communication, release readiness, documentation, and coordination of training to drive adoption and minimize disruption maintaining high standards in terms of written documentation, user notifications, and communications.

Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in a related discipline (Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent experience
- Experience acting as a business or Commercial representative in system enhancement initiatives, including requirements definition, backlog prioritization, and cross-functional delivery with technical teams.
- Experience with ERP, CRM and related systems in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Experience with Process Improvement Strategies, VES or a similar business improvement system and change management
- Demonstrates strong judgment, structured problem-solving, and the ability to manage ambiguity while balancing multiple Commercial priorities.
- DBA, Data Analyst. SCRUM certifications are an asset.
- 2 plus years of experience as a software developer is an asset
