Job Description

Internal posting only: position available to associates and contingent workers reporting to hiring manager only.

We’re looking for a strategic and execution-oriented Events & Marketing Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of tradeshows, conferences, and regional field marketing programs. This role goes beyond tactical delivery and requires strong judgment, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to translate business goals into impactful event and field strategies.

You’ll partner closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to shape the annual events strategy, prioritize investments, and drive measurable outcomes across regions. You’ll own end-to-end event delivery while continuously improving execution standards, processes, and performance insights.

In support of our UK and Italy teams, you’ll act as a strategic marketing partner—facilitating quarterly marketing plans that integrate events, campaigns, and localized initiatives. You’ll engage in consultative discussions to understand regional priorities, align resources, and influence go-to-market decisions, drawing on the broader marketing organization as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Event Strategy, Planning & Execution

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of tradeshows, conferences, and field events, aligning sponsorships, logistics, messaging, and staffing to broader go-to-market objectives.
  • Own Events Execution Excellence, establishing best practices, timelines, requirements checklists, and vendor standards to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across regions.
  • Exercise judgment in selecting events, sponsorship levels, and execution approaches based on business priorities, audience relevance, and expected ROI.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, and Brand to shape event messaging, positioning, and on-site experience.
  • Track and analyze event performance using qualitative and quantitative metrics; deliver post-event debriefs with insights, recommendations, and optimization strategies to inform future planning.
  • Oversee event budgets end-to-end, including forecasting, vendor negotiations, spend tracking, reconciliation, and reporting; proactively identify risks and trade-offs.

Marketing & Regional Enablement

  • Build and run marketing demand generation programs that drive pipeline growth, align to regional and sales priorities, and deliver measurable impact across target segments
  • Act as a strategic marketing partner to regional teams in the UK and Italy, co-developing and maintaining quarterly marketing plans aligned to regional goals, pipeline needs, and budgets.
  • Translate regional priorities into actionable plans, coordinating support from central marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of campaigns, assets, and event programs.
  • Adapt and localize global campaigns, tools, and materials to maximize regional relevance and effectiveness.
  • Measure and report on the performance of field marketing initiatives, assessing engagement, lead quality, and ROI; apply insights to refine regional and global strategies.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience owning end-to-end events and marketing programs, with demonstrated ability to manage complexity and competing priorities.
  • Proven experience leading event strategy, logistics, budgets, timelines, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong judgment and problem-solving skills; able to navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions based on multiple inputs.
  • Comfortable operating independently while influencing outcomes across teams and regions.
  • Experience learning and applying marketing technology tools (e.g., Zuant, Hubspot) to drive insight and efficiency.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to explain complex information and build alignment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across North America and Europe.

Bonus Points If You

  • Have experience in SaaS or marketing technical products.
  • Have worked with Utilities, Government agencies, or regulated industries.
