WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Load material onto trucks/trailer safely using proper blocking and configuration
• Entering shipping information into the require software systems
• Receiving material
• Move empty and loaded trailers around the property and into loading docks
• Ensure proper job costing information is entered into the time and attendance system
• Liaising with the employees in the immediate area so as to ensure that a quality product is produced, on time, per specifications, at a minimum cost
• Along with all other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Secondary school diploma or high school equivalent as a minimum
• Maintain a level of education necessary to keep pace with new manufacturing technology and company requirements
• Knowledge of required software systems (Visual, Roll Former Interface, etc)
• Knowledge of Ministry of Transportation rules and regulation regarding dimensions and weights
• Able to operate a shunt truck to move trailers
• Reading and interpreting bills and drawings
• Understanding material requirements and characteristics (thickness, width, sweep, camber, etc)
• Good organization, visualization, and problem solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Team player
• Ability to work afternoon shift (4pm-3am, Monday to Thursday)
