We are currently looking for a team-oriented full-time Welder to join our team located in London Ontario.

Job Summary:

The Welder/Fitter is responsible for welding materials such as stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, and repairing damaged components utilizing MIG and TIG welding techniques.

The responsibilities of a Welder include:

• Weld stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum components
• Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques
• Read and understand blueprints to determine appropriate welding sequence and fixture requirements
• Follow all welding safety procedures
• Verify finished work using tool such as calipers and protractors to ensure proper angles and dimensions
• Support and mentor junior-level employees
• Actively train junior-level employees

Education, Skills, and Job Requirements:

• 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright or 456A Welder tickets, or equivalent experience
• Proficient with TIG and MIG welding techniques
• Experience TIG welding aluminum
• Firm understanding of weld symbols/GD&T callouts
• Effectively multitask, prioritize, and organize work to meet deadlines
