We are currently looking for a team-oriented full-time Welder to join our team located in London Ontario.
Job Summary:
The Welder/Fitter is responsible for welding materials such as stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, and repairing damaged components utilizing MIG and TIG welding techniques.
The responsibilities of a Welder include:
- Weld stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum components
- Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Read and understand blueprints to determine appropriate welding sequence and fixture requirements
- Follow all welding safety procedures
- Verify finished work using tool such as calipers and protractors to ensure proper angles and dimensions
- Support and mentor junior-level employees
- Actively train junior-level employees
Education, Skills, and Job Requirements:
- 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright or 456A Welder tickets, or equivalent experience
- Proficient with TIG and MIG welding techniques
- Experience TIG welding aluminum
- Firm understanding of weld symbols/GD&T callouts
- Effectively multitask, prioritize, and organize work to meet deadlines
