Computer Technical Support
Full Time
Department: Systems
Reports To: Department Manager
Purpose of Position:
To provide computer hardware technical support for Sterling Marking Products Inc. and its customers. To successfully install computer equipment and software. To assist with cabling and network administration.
Result Areas of the Position:
Computers and Computer components successfully installed
Computer software successfully installed
Building cabled neatly
Customer computer hardware needs satisfied
Hardware problems diagnosed and trouble shooting completed
Contributory:
Computer Equipment problems resolved
Help desk troubleshooting resolved
Team members equipment upgrades and techniques
Software distributed to customers
Business Technology applications design and programs documented
ISO Quality Program achieved
Time spent on calls and projects recorded daily
Research into new computer equipment available on market
Activities & Tasks:
Computer equipment diagnose and trouble shooting
Installation and repair of computer equipment
Participate in network administration
Document computer hardware stations and topology
COVID-19 considerations:
All team members are required to be onsite and double vaccinated
