Responsibilities:
- Develop calibration schedule for all instruments, gauges and testing devices
- Develop calibration procedures for all instruments, gauges and testing devices to be calibrated in-house
- Set-up and verify calibrations for all instruments, gauges and testing devices calibrated by an outside company
- Ensure instruments, gauges and testing devices are calibrated correctly
- Verify accuracy of instruments, gauges and testing devices using master gauges and make adjustments as necessary
- Perform corrective maintenance on instruments, gauges and testing devices as required
- Order replacement parts for faulty instruments, gauges and testing devices
- Inspect instruments, gauges and testing devices for fit of moving parts and mechanical functioning
- Train operators to perform quality checks when required
- Maintain master samples as per required procedure
- Maintain records of calibration and repair for all instruments, gauges and testing devices
- Maintain weekly and monthly reporting metrics
- All other relevant duties
Key Requirements:
- Grade 12, GED, or equivalent
- 3 years' experience with stamping, welding and assembly processes
- Computer efficiency skills in all required areas
