AZ Driver

Looking for a dynamic AZ Driver to join our team in Dorchester, Ontario!

General Description:
We are looking for a self-starting, responsible and experienced AZ Driver. The ideal candidate will have
the ability to multi task efficiently with driving tasks as well as assisting in other areas of the Warehouse.
This position requires a self-starting, responsible and experienced team member for a fast-paced
environment.

Essential Duties:
The duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to:
• Operates vehicle to pick up and deliver items mostly throughout southern Ontario, but available
on occasion to travel out of province or to the US
• Maintains and monitors vehicle condition to ensure roadworthiness
• Demonstrate proficient and safe driving techniques
• Informs appropriate staff member that product has arrived and where it is stocked
• Support with Warehousing, Shipping, Receiving and logistics
• Work with company specialized computer software (ERP) and perform tasks within the system
• Prepares and packs outgoing shipments/packages in safe way
• Supports other team members to reinforce positive teamwork environment
• Uses hand tools and assists in production areas as necessary
• Complies with the company Health & Safety rules and regulations in accordance with the Act
• Maintains professional appearance at all times
• Comply with company Health & Safety rules and regulations in accordance with the Act
• Perform other duties as required

Prerequisite Skills and Qualifications:
• Valid AZ driving license (Airbrake endorsement) and clean driver’s abstract
• Must be insurable
• Minimum 5 years AZ driving experience
• Hold a valid Canadian passport and flexible for occasional US travel
• Ability to diagnose and complete minor vehicle repairs an asset
• Previous fork lift experience is an asset
• Familiarity with shipping hazardous and/or controlled goods
• Effective and efficient communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
Must be able to pass a Security Clearance
