Automation Electrician

We are currently looking for a team-oriented full-time Automation Electrician to join our team located in London Ontario.
Job Summary:
Automation Electricians installs, maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots electrical components on custom industrial automation machines.
The duties and responsibilities of the Automation Electrician include:
- Wiring turnkey automation solutions
- Building, assembling, and wiring electrical panels for turnkey automation solutions
- Collaborate with different teams (design, millwright assemblers, controls, project managers) to ensure that timelines and budgets are adhered to
- Effectively read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics for custom automation machines
- Install, replace, or repair wiring, switch boxes, panels, light fixtures, switchgear, transformers, motors, hydraulic/pneumatic components, and conduits
- Testing different electrical components for functionality, voltage, current, resistance
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and work as safely as possible
- Travel to customer locations for installation and testing of machines
- Act professionally as an ambassador of Armo-Tool when offsite at customer locations
- Other duties as assigned
Education, Skills, and Job Requirements
- 442A Industrial Electrician ticket or equivalent experience
- Good problem-solving skills for complex electrical issues related to custom automation equipment
- Firm understanding of electrical panel building, machine wiring and operation
- Working well with others in a collaborative environment with multiple different teams
- Working well independently with minimal supervision from Electrical Lead
