Specialist/Engineer – Logistics Project Engineering (LPE) Position Description:Member of Logistics Project Team within Logistics Engineering (LE) department. Responsible to assist in execution/coordination of GDLS-C supportability efforts Liaise with subcontractors to ensure logistics product development in accordance with prime contract(s) requirements and on time delivery of Logistics CDRLs. Liaise closely with the ED&T groups to update internal/external schedules and assist with the resolution of day-to-day issues. Work directly with the customer to manage scope, schedule and cost associated with Logistics Engineering projects. Coordinate and support the GDLS-C CCR and subcontractor ECP process including implementation of the change(s) Assist Logistics Support Analysis and Technical Publications development and delivery to customer Coordinate and assist with project(s) execution for scope, cost and schedule using EVMS and departmental procedures and guidance documents Assist in the investigation, analysis and recommendation of corrective actions to address project and test issues Attend customer and subcontractor meetings as required (In process reviews, Log Demo, Verification, etc.) Receive/address incoming correspondence from internal/external customer for impacts to Logistics.Specialist/Engineer, Logistics Project Engineering Key Job Elements:

  • Liaise closely with the ED&T groups to update internal/external schedules and assist with the resolution of day-to-day issues
  • Coordinate and support the GDLS-C CCR and subcontractor ECP process including implementation of the change(s)
  • Assist Logistics Support Analysis and Technical Publications development and delivery to customer

  Required Qualifications:
  • University Degree or College Diploma in a technical discipline
  • Minimum 3 -5 years’ relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management
  • Strong product knowledge of LAV/mobile equipment systems and software
  • Proficient communication, organization and prioritization skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proactive, with the ability to work with limited guidance
  • Ability to travel (10% Cdn) and (5% US & Int'l) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
  • Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Restrictions for confined space.
