Description
Student, Engineering Manufacturing Key Job Elements:
- Support implementation of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and migrate Manufacturing Engineering data to align with the new systems and processes
- Investigate root cause and implement corrective actions for Manufacturing Engineering's digitally transformed data to ensure configuration accuracy and alignment
- Develop, document and maintain ME digital processes and procedures
- Support the creation and maintenance of variant and program specific
- Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOM) and Bill of Processes (BOPs)
- Produce and validate accurately detailed Work Instructions to meet Manufacturing and Customer Support process requirements
- Support the development and maintenance of Oracle routings and standard hour estimates to align with Manufacturing Customer Support Work Instructions
- Support Teamcenter upgrades and IT projects as they arise by acting as Manufacturing Engineering support to help implement established strategies, upgrades and processes
Required Qualifications:
- Enrolled in University or College in an Engineering or other related program
- Demonstrated effective communication, presentation, and computer skills.
- Strong time management, well-organized, attentive to details
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience is an asset
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement tools
- Advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
